Jafza is currently working on various exciting new developments to ensure that the future exceeds the illustriousness of our past.

To meet the continuous growth in demand Jafza has initiated the multi- billion dollar South Zone Expansion Project in 2005. The project is a hybrid model where two clusters will be formed for the Chemical and Food and Beverage industries. The remainder of the zone will serve other core industries in a flexible physical layout.

Some of the other prestigious projects currently underway at Jafza include the iconic Convention Centre Complex which is all set to become one of the UAE’s most prominent business landmarks. The Complex will be a perfect platform for businesses in Jafza to foster ties in a setting of modern ergonomics and efficiency. Housing two 34-storey business towers, an exhibition centre, a 600-seat auditorium and catering area, as well as a 322 room hotel, the complex will cater to the Jafza business community’s growing needs.

The recently completed twin office towers - Jafza View 18 and 19, a 30 floor office complex, has added 34,000 sq meter of prime commercial space to Jafza’s facilities. The office complex is located along Sheikh Zayed Road in Jafza South. With conference rooms, business centers, retail shops, a food court and coffee shops, it is Jafza’s first high-rise office complex.

The Commercial Community Centre (CCC) comprising a top-class Food Court and a Shopping Centre is the first of its kind facility in the South Zone. The Centre comprises a 28-outlet food court and a comprehensive retail space consisting of a money exchange, super market, car rental outlet, pharmacy, an electronic shop and a bank. Located next to 18 seven storey buildings staff accommodation complex, the CCC is well positioned to serve companies based in Jafza South, their visitors and 20,000 company employees staying in the staff accommodation

The completion of the new Al Maktoum International Airport (JXB) is set to further strengthen Jafza’s reputation as one of the world’s most efficient sea-air hubs, making it the only free zone in the world to be located between an airport and a sea port.The outlined projects & developments in the Jebel Ali free zone in Dubai are only the tip of the iceberg, and the coming years will witness a large scale undertakings at Jafza.
